This is a DES (
what is DES?) 5.83 inch e-paper display with 648X480 resolution, 24 pins FPC connection, optional FPC connector, communicating via SPI interface.  It has wide working temperature range: -20℃~60℃. It can be used in sunlight and cold environments, so it is suitable for outdoor equipment. Its IC Driver is UC8179.

In view of so many advantages: ultra low power consumption, near 180 degree view angle, used in sunlight, wide working temperature, GDEW0583M09 is a very good choice for applications like shelf label, smart tags, smart home application, industrial instrument, smart cards, outdoor equipment. Also it can be used in cold environment.

It is manufactured using a new process: DES, DES series products have the following characteristics:
* High contrast, better display effect, can be used in sunlight
*Wide working temperature range: -20℃~60℃, can be used in cold environments
(operating temp. of E-ink technology epaper is:  2-color: 0~50℃, 3-color: 0~40℃, low temp.: -25℃~25℃)
